The Tuba City Junior High Braves kicked off their 2026 football season with an unforgettable finish on Tuesday, Aug. 25th against the Tuba City Boarding School Thumderbirds.

In a game that came down to the final seconds, the score was tied 6-6 with the Braves in possession.

With time winding down, the Braves found the endzone for the What an exciting way to begin the season!

Tradionally, the battle for the Bell takes place at the end of the season, but this year, the Braves started the season with a BANG-and regained the Bell for another year!
